Illuminating the Journey ✨
Join me on a journey of living a life of aliveness, wholeness and healing from the inside out.
Meditation comes to us naturally. If you can dream and imagine, you can meditate.
Both meditating and dreaming allows you to let go of distractions, get focused and slow down the stream of thoughts that run through your mind. Once focused your imagination is fueled by your desires for the things you want. When you're daydreaming, you're in the zone, your laser like focused on the dream. Meditation is the same. Make it fun, make it real. When you daydream you let your imagination take you to wonderful, beautiful places.
Meditation also opens you up to higher knowing and wisdom. You can connect with your spirit, soul, higher consciousness, the Divine or whatever feeds your spirit.
I like to demystify meditation because of the confusion that surrounds it. It’s not hard or only for guru’s or masters. You can make it be whatever you want it to be. You are one of a kind. Your dreams are one of a kind. Your meditations will also be one of a kind.
Meditation tips;
This is what I do.
Finding a comfortable place, sitting up or lying down, begin to relax your body. Imagine from your toes to the top of your head filling with gentle relaxation then add in deep breathing. There’s no one way to relax. Practice what’s right for you. Take as much or as little time as you need.
Once relaxed, create a beautiful safe place in your mind. Make it real using your imagination. I like to imagine myself under a dark starry sky. Think of someplace that feels wonderful for you. Your imagination is a powerhouse. It will help you fill in the details. Bring in all your senses. Taste, touch, hear, see and smell. The more details you use, the more real your meditation will be. Meditation should feel like an adventure. If it’s boring change it up to something that’s delightful and engaging for you.

- During meditation you need to be comfortable and safe. A comfy chair or lying down is all you need to do.
Once fully relaxed, you can work on all aspects of your life; Relationships, success, health & healing, spiritual expansion, and letting more love into your life.
Process what’s not working. Releasing doubts, stress, anxiety and fears. Getting honest and changing what stands between you and living a life you love.
Open your heart and mind to Spirit. Whatever Divine is to you. Sense the presence of your Soul, be open to a partnership, an alliance of love, trust and care.
*** A few things to note; Keep your meditations private and give them time to steep. More information will come to light through signs, dreams, or sudden insights.
I’ve learned not to share the content of my meditations unless it’s with a trusted friend. Judgments or unwelcome comments can disrupt what was meant to be sacred moments.
There are many ways to practice meditation. The Meditation guided and self-guided meditation that I practice and teach is very active and intentional. Every day I have my sacred time. I go to work on my health, my spiritual life, and my everyday life. I ask for guidance; I ask for love and support for people I know and people I don’t know. We are all vessels for the Divine; we are all a part of nature; we are all connected. The wholeness the holy within.
I also work on removing obstacles and blockages to greater loving, wellbeing, health, success, happiness and wholeness. I process out what’s not working in my life. I’ve learned to honor all my emotions and feelings. Giving voice to the unspoken within me, listening to and honoring my thoughts, fears, doubts and worries including anger, pain, grief, resentments, jealousy, blame and pity. Also, honoring the light in me. My strengths, my gifts, my personal achievements.
When I own my fears, then I can do something about them. I can free myself. Getting to the root of fear exposes the real concern. For instance, I was confusing fear with control, but when I found that the root was control, it lifted the fear.
I’ve learned how to combine my spiritual life with my daily life. I’ve learned that everything is spiritual. I’ve learned that it’s okay to make mistakes and that’s how we learn and grow. I’ve learned that forgiveness heals. I’ve learned to forgive myself often, because we are all a work in progress.
I’ve learned how to take my power back. Our power is foundational. Empowerment requires that we own our stuff.
I’ve learned that you can handle what haunts you. Don’t wait! Free yourself now. One of the greatest secrets is that it’s not as scary as you think it’s going to be. Unprocessed fears, and worries spread like wildfire. Getting real and honest with yourself is freeing and you are strong enough to handle your fears. Think about the strength you must have to carry those burdens in the first place. You can handle what haunts you. Absolutely you can.
